This is school is THE WORST college you could ever go to. Firstly, the small choice of classes makes it almost impossible to fulfill major requirements while trying to fulfill the liberal arts requirements. To make matters even worse, I had numerously been locked out of the system upon signing up for classes, and wasn't able to get into anything even though it wasn't my fault. Upon approaching the dean, she literally told me "I like to give my students a hard time," and nothing was done. I know some other friends wo have also had trouble getting into classes, and the deans also didn't help them one bit, even though it was the college's mistake. Secondly, the dorming situation is terrible. You're forced to dorm with someone, even if they are suicidal, like one of my roomates. The school responded to that by telling me to just call public safety if she starts killing herself. Great, im not a trained professional. She finally was hospitalized near the end of the year. Thirdly, the social life is terrible. The girl's here are the definition of strange and most of them have social problems. The closest town to drive to is at least twenty minutes away. Please don't even consider going here unless you want problems in your life. Overall, I only hear about people wanting to transfer, and I myself can't wait to get out of here. Angels will be singing in my ear.

MHC has a great community. I bet you'll love it. I love it a lot, and I guess the only thing that I wish I had more of here is competitiveness - I went to a very competitive high school, and I loved it. That's the only reason why I say I'd go somewhere else, probably to an Ivy League - if i had the money!

Mount Holyoke is a great college full of wonderful students. The atmosphere on campus is so welcoming and the people and professors are so approachable and have a great sense of humor. I can understand some people not feeling welcome here - maybe bigots with no sense of humor? But really, if you're not comfortable around gay people, don't come. Nobody wants you here and you will hate it, because gay people are widely accepted here.

If you are a friendly person at alll, you will make friends with a variety of girls. And if you want to make friends with people at other colleges, it's really not that hard, especially if you have a car. The bus system is quite good (at least in my experience...and always a place where you can sit next to a hot guy if you're feeling like you desperately need to talk to a male). The party scene isn't nonexistant, but it mostly happens at other colleges. If you are very into that, you probably won't enjoy this college.Basically, in my personal experience, this college is amazing. I love my extracurricular sports, my friends, my classes, and basically everything. Maybe it's not an experience for everyone (and the price tag is ridiculous!) but for me, it's worth it!
