On the US News website, it says theQuite BrightEconomics
On the US News website, it says the ratio at MHC was 10:1. THAT IS A LIE I AM TELLING YA!!I don't know where they came up with this number. Like WTH??!

Beware!! Many of the classes actually have 20-45 students. What sucks even more is that there is only one section of the class, as a result, there is a very long waitlist of about another 40 students. Many student are unable to enroll the class. This is based on my experience the first year. I tried to enroll two classes that were required for my major on the first day of enrollment and I was on the waitlist on both of them. The teachers say it is very hard to finally enroll when you are on the waitlist. They pick and chose who will enroll the class next once a student drops the class. If it is not you, too bad so sad. Students who aren't able to enroll a certain class might have to even delay their graduation or take more classes per semester at the end, so they will have more pressure. I mean why can't they hire more professors? I thought this is supposed to be a private college with smaller class sizes. Even public institutions have more than one sections per class.

If you are an international student, be readyAverageComputer Science
If you are an international student, be ready to feel cheated. The financial information you get before you reach here is only half of it. When you reach here, they add all these costs that they did not inform you about prior to your arrival. I t is a money minded university and I am currently considering a transfer.

Coming from abroad, I expected an open-minded place.BrightHistory/Histories (art history/etc.)
Coming from abroad, I expected an open-minded place. instead it was an intolerant bubble where everyone is expected to be super-liberal and not challenge perceived wisdom. For instance, in one class, the prof kept confusing ethnicity with race and put down students who tried to distinguish between the two, because, for instance, that would upset the issue of what is a Latino and can Latinos be 'white.' Somehow, fun a sin, so anyone who tries to enjoy themselves on campus is considered a 'party girl.' Lots of cliques, though of course there's a myth of female solidarity.
