If you are male quiet reserved straight but
If you are male quiet reserved straight but not narrow handsome talented singer actor dancer and musician uninterested in the preening lecherous enuendo, passes groping challenges to broading your sexual desires to include the teachers, teachers pets, & the many students enamered of the gay centrist culture specific to boca... then life at boca will be an ever increasing trial of marginalization and assaults on your self worth, pocket book, lack of support etc... in spite the great talents & accomplishments of many years on stage.. jimmy stewart & tom hanks would be forced to get right with the wonderful sensitive, gay oh so happy pro homosexual politics of boca staff admin, and students struck with the gay wand of power and thereby pronounced great talents & heirs apparent worthy of casting, inclusion & advocacy ...

this was the experience quiet liberal unitarian boy that came to boca after years of work & success in music and on stage...

he left $40K in debt. no degree and very bitter taste regarding boca & gross unprofessionalism of a seemingly unchallenge "gay mafia" that is dominant in much of the semi-pro & professional american musical theater culture . my advice to anyone considering boston conservatory is check you pants to see if you are being groped or robbed and then if you are able, go to the nearest airport and get the hell out of boston....there are many schools for musical theater almost all are better than boca and cheaper... and believe me, they really are better launching pads than boca, for a young talent aspiring to musical theater & beyond...

It's a wonderful and very challenging school. The facilities leave much to be desired but overall, it's a very fine institution that is very much up and coming. The faculty is very accessible and are usually helpuful. The administration can be frustrating, however, and there is a slight money shortage. THe quality of student is first rate, however, and few institutions can compare to the training received here.
