The administration and professors are as arrogant and incompetent as ever. The campus is not all it's cracked up to be from first glances. Things are not as accessible as they make them seem. Don't jump ship to come as it would be the worst possible move anyone could make. Good students can't get scholarships and the costs are skyrocketing for tuition each year here. The faculty and administration are all complete idiots who don't care about the students. Everyone is just a number to them. For the amount of money that the students pay to go there, they could at least TRY to be accessible! Pretty much the students are just treated like shit. And if you're undeclared? Forget about it. The amount of pressure they put on you to declare a major is unbelievable. They don't care if it's what you really want to do - as long as you get put into a co-op rotation. As far as the social life goes, there's nothing to do in the city at night if you're not 21, and since the campus is so strict parties that are actually fun are hard to come by. it ends up being the same thing every weekend - either cramming into some gross frat house's basement until the cops come or drinking in someone's apartment, it gets really old really fast. Some people claim to love Northeastern, but I can't understand why - if I could choose again I would NEVER go to this school!!! Not worth the money at all!!!
