Positive Negative Neutral Advice
If you haven't gone to an all girlsQuite BrightPreLaw and Legal
If you haven't gone to an all girls school before, it's a big transition. So be prepared. I just finished my first year at Simmons and it was amazing. The girls are all very friendly and hard working. There is always something to do if you know where to look. I highly recommend you get involved with different activities. If you're worried about the lack of parties or nightlife. It's true, nothing really happens on the Simmons campus. But there is always somewhere to go and invites from other colleges.

My biggest tips:

1. Get involved
2. Work hard
3. Be prepared for the transition
4. It's Boston- EXPLORE
5. Walk through Emanuel to get to class, it's faster.6. DO NOT LIVE IN MORSE HALL

Question
Pros:AverageUndecided
Pros:
-Great library!
-It's a small campus so you get everywhere quickly.
-Very close to other colleges; in the Fenway.
-Great professors. Although you do have to research them to find ones that will challenge you academically.

Cons:
-The Main Campus Building smells. I don't know what it is, but it smells like it hasn't been cleaned since the 50s.

-No diversity whatsoever. Most of the women are either from MA, NH, or Maine. If you're lucky you'll meet someone from an exotic land, such as California... :s

-iComps.
-Too many stupid requirements that take up much of your time: iComps, MCC, FYE, Modes....
-The parents are notified of everything, so it's like going to a boarding school.
-Most of the students are too preoccupied with their personal lives to actually care about their studies.

-Sh!t financial aid help.
-Small campus.
-If you don't make friends in the first few days, you're screwed. I'm a commuter student. Because I didn't attend, I wasn't able to befriend anyone early on like in orientation. Whenever I see one of my classmates around campus I smile and they just turn their heads... So yeah, snotty students.

-A LOT of Simmons students wearing Mt. Holyoke/Smith/Wellesley sweaters...they should just get over it.
