I went to HCC and hated it, failed and just hated it. Then I came here to get me gen ed. I passed my first semester. The teacher are so helpful as well as the advisors....if you're looking to take some classes or to go into nursing this is def. the school for you. They are a lot of gangs in the area and sometimes on campus. Just avoid eye contact.

Quite Bright
Dude. This School FUCKING SUCKS. SO god damn much.
Please, DO NOT. GO here. (DON'T DO IT DUDE! please!)
I went to Stonehill for two years... heres the break down from a true bro's perspective. (This School is SO NOT BRO!)

RIGHT THIS VERY SECOND --- its FUCKING finals Week, And guess what? We don't have wireless internet access. Yes you read that right. Yes it is 2012 not 1997. Yes you are being asked to pay $50,000 a year to attend a Christian Boarding School.

Facts about the Social Life
1. You will be written up multiple times. You will have to do 10+ hours of mind numbing "community service" for every time you are written up. There is no getting around being written up, it will happen.

2. The RA's at this school are power hungry, sadistic, goody-two-shoes, control freak psycho paths. Typical loser/faggots of the worst breed.

You know that ugly ass chick who stares at you uncomfortably? She secretly wants your johnson but the only way she can communicate with you is by harassing you and your friends? That is the typical RA at Stonehill College.

3. The school produces high-intensity Social Claustrophobia. Because everyone is exactly the same the school is not "clicky" its fucking HYPERACTIVELY Clicky. Meaning - your 2 close friends (one of which will be your roomate) are going to be EXACTLY fucking like you. Which sounds cool at first right? I'm a person of a high self esteem, somebody else like me sounds pretty cool right? WRONG. When everyone dresses the same, thinks the same, and acts the same - a LAME AS FUCK social scene is produced. (its insane dude, no nobody even participates in class because the place is soo crazily judgemental.) You won't bother getting to know anyone cause there is no point, you already know how they feel about everything because they are exactly like you. 96% of the school are upper-middle class white kids of catholic descent from the New England Area.

It is literally impossible to learn ANYTHING from Stonehill Students - they are some of the most closed-minded fucks I have ever come across. They have the most close minded views on minorities or anything that is outside their extremely small world.

TRUE STORY #1
I was once chilling in my dorm room with 4 of my friends. Every single one of these friends shared the first name "Connor". I was the only one in a room of 5 guys whose first name wasn't "Connor". We exited my room on our way to dinner and passed my RA, also named "Connor". #Diversity

Approx. 38% of the school is named either Connor, Chris, Meghan, Kelly, or Christine.
3. "THE STONEHILL STARE"
The infamous "Stonehill Stare" comes in two forms. The first is an attempt at "flirting" by these unarticulate little deuchers. Seriously, everybody makes EXCESSIVE eye contact for up to 4 seconds at a time. Its a hard phenonenon to explain but simply put -- its fucking wierd.

The second "Stonehill Stare" comes in the classrom. Seriously, nobody participates in class its fucking insane. The place is so judgemental/closeminded/filled with unconfident sheltered suburban fucks that nobody wants to participate in class. A professor will ask a question and nobody in a class of 30 will answer. They will just stare as if the professor was an episode of "jersey shore". This is fucking college people, not high school. Its uncool to be a moron and that is something alot of these kids don't understand.

THE HOUSING AT THIS SCHOOL IS A FUCKING DISGRACE.
1.The internet services would have been acceptable... in fucking 1998. Seriously the worst internect access/services I have come across. I had no idea any college could offer such shitty services and still stay in business. 2. You won't be able to live with your friends. You will be forced to live around/near kids you do not like. The student body has little to no control over housing. They stress out about it like crazy only to be placed in an uncomfortable situation surrounded by people they don't like even as juniors or seniors. (The school actively discriminates against living off-campus. They prefer you to live in their tightly controlled, tiny ass dorm rooms policed by their over zelous Residential Assistants.

Not so bright
STCC as an educational institution is great. The student body on the other hand is horrible. If you came here to learn, please expect that you are walking into 13th grade. The number of special needs students have skyrocketed, the number of people attending has skyrocketed, and the violence has skyrocketed. In the past two years there have been two stabbings on campus, and we have not been notified until HOURS later. The professors are great, helpful, and genuinely care about the students. You will run into "hard" professors (a.k.a professor that actually want you to learn the subject) and then you will run into easy professors (ones that will let you pick your own exam questions.) If you have another option...take it. The student body here is very judgmental, harsh, and ignorant. In one of my classes there was a student with a brain injury that a majority of students would make fun of. Seriously guys? The funny thing was she did better than them on the exams. You will run into kids who are desperate to fit in and talk back to professors, cliques, etc. I'm out of this school and I will never recommend this place to anyone. In some of my classes I felt like I was in 2nd grade.
