If you have other choices, do not go here. The students are horrible, I felt like I was at a community college for the obscenely rich. It suited my needs for a semester, which was to go to school in Boston. I quickly transferred out to attend UMass Boston.

The elevators in the dorms were broken half the time, frequently trapping students in there for hours. The cafeteria food was subpar and outrageously priced. I ate on the cheap and my meals were usually around $7. Many people used up their entire food allowance half way through the semester.

Let's see, the advisors are pushy assholes who don't ask you anything about your plans for life and if you express interest in anything outside your major expect to be berated, I sure was. I was talked down to like a child instead of a 24 year old adult, a very frustrating experience.

I could go on but I shan't. The one good thing I noticed was a lot of tea hers were adjuncts with real life experience which was nice. Outside of that my one semester at Suffolk cost me more than my whole education at UMass.I'd seriously consider elsewhere.

Really, the experience is what you make of it. The cross section of students is significant. Some are wealthy, some have struggled working 3 and 4 jobs to make it work. My department and advisors are very good. I anjoy the classes.

I feel like I got half the grades in high school with twice the effort than what I'm getting at Suffolk now. Honestly, I'm not one to toot my own horn, but I am definitely a lot smarter than the average student at this school. My reason for coming here was that once BU rejected me, I saw that at least Suffolk was also in Boston. Boy did I not realize how stupid that was; I am constantly condescended by other students at other universities around Boston, which obviously are more prestigious. I'm planning to transfer out as soon as this semester ends.
