Quite Bright
Tufts is a great school. You're surrounded by people destined to succeed in life and you'd be hard pressed to get a better education. The one thing you learn to put up with there is the constant whining from the student body. They're all rich kids who have never had a real crisis in their life so everything gets blown way out of proportion. Everyone's always jumping on a cause bandwagon, whether or not it has any validity. Everyone's complaining about the Dining Hall food (honestly, the food at Tufts is unbelievably good and every Guest I've taken there backs me up, but Tufts kids are comparing it room service at the Ritz and so... yup, more whining), the dorms (they're fine), the racism (there is not a less racsist location on Earth), the lack of a social life (the school is a 20 minute "T" ride from the center of Boston - I rest my case). If I had to sum up my long (ironically enough, whiney) diatribe here I would say that Tufts is all what you make of it. Go there, find the kids who don't make reference to "Daddy's jet" and have a great four years and get an outstanding education!

While academically, this is a great place, the social life here destroys it. All the students I have encountered are materialistic, arrogant, bitter ivy league rejects. This school reminds me of high school; there is no interaction between people of different backgrounds and first impressions stick with you. My spirit has been destroyed from this school.

Super Brilliant
Tufts University, though far from the perfect institution, is by far the best possible place I could have decided to attend. The Tufts community is excellent, and the campus is made of up of hard-working yet easy-going students. The internaional character of the school pretty prominent, as students are agressively recruited from all corners of the globe. The campus location couldn't be better... a nice campus with trees and grass, yet a twenty minute subway ride to downtown Boston. Social life is pretty good, and in general the balance between social life and academics is perfect. My complaints about the school are few, but should be mentioned. Both academic and residential buildings can be crusty, and very few buildings are renovated every year. Additionally, the campus is nice, but could be nicer.
