 | | | Western New England College is an enigma, even to its own students and faculty. A small percentage of students are over-involved in absolutely every extracuricular activity imaginable. They all know each other and have a powerful inner circle. This includes members of Senate, CAB, and the presidents of nearly every club on campus. You will find that these people all know everything that's going on and these same people attend everything. The other 90% of the school has no idea at all what is going at both at the school and in the world. If you are looking for a campus that cares about current events and making a difference, try to avoid WNEC, you will be frusterating by how unresponsive students can be. It costs a lot of money to go here, not all students come from wealthy backgrounds but a vast majority do. They already have jobs and livse planned out for them once they graduate. They are at college because that is what people from their backgrounds do. WNEC is not necessarily a suitcase school, but you will find an awfully lot of students who care little for anything other than the coveted World Series title. If you don't like baseball, stay away. Just some advice. At the same time, the faculty cares a lot for its students. The history deptartment is stellar. | Preparedness: -, Reputation: - | | | |

| | Bright | Some of the professors in the engineering department and throughout the school carry themselves as if they were better than everyone else. Some of them are arrogant and can be unhelpful. I just feel like for the amount of money I pay, I don't get the education I want. Still there are some that are very friendly and want to help. | Surrounding City: B+, Collaboration/Competitive: D+ | | | |

| | Quite Bright | The school is great. I got the personal attention, small classes, quality education, and much more. Many people who said this is a suitcase campus or it is a waste of time are the ones that did NOTHING on campus. YThere are so many opportunities for you to make the best here, it is whether you want to take advantage of those opportunities. It bothers me when I hear people say there is nothign to do. Well, you should have left your room. From the different events, trips, and meeting alumni, there is always something to do. The academics are excellent. If you work hard, you can do anything with your degree. The School of Business has taught me so much that I felt that I could do anything when I graduated. I have been very successful since I graduated and I give all the credit the school. | Preparedness: A+, Reputation: A+ | | |
