-I was recruited by WNEC for sports and I love my team but if I had to do it wll over again, I would have never come here. WNEC has a nice campus, in nice weather. In other words, in the winter the walkways are poorly paved and when it rains the walkways are flooded.

-Most of the students are friendly but can be extremely obnoxious, like they will never grow up. There are nights that I am trying to get to sleep and there are people that are always awake that are screaming or blasting music. The RAs do nothing about it because a good portion of them are pushovers.

-Also, you can tell that WNEC has an 80% acceptance rate because a majority of the students don't have common knowledge. A good amount of the students either get kicked out for grades or transfer. Most people I talk to have several problems with the college and would have never come here.

-The food is terrible. Its almost inedible. The make good dessert and that's it. I didn't know it was possible to suck the flavor out of certain foods but WNEC sure found a way!-The last problem I will mention but not even close to the last problem at WNEC is the tuition. It's over $40,000 per year, for what? Shitty food, obnoxious people, icy pathways, NO outdoor track, and a dangerous area. Don't even other filling out the financial aid package. My parents income combined is less than $30,000 and WNEC gives me a $12,000 package. DO NOT EVER COME HERE.

I wouldn't be where I am today without WNEC. I highly recommend it for Poli Sci. There is a large DC support network.

I've really enjoyed my time at WNEC. I went out, got involved and made some really great friends. Thats really important at colleges. When you get involved, it makes college a more pleasent experience. It is really important to go to an open house just to taste the food, and get to know some of the faculty and staff. The food here is good! So try it. Yes, it is college food, but they're very accomidating and do a really good job at having something different every day.

The social life here is very active. Majority of the students who attend this school become very involved in clubs, honor societies, and athletics. Yes, there are students who do go home on the weekend, but it is mostly freshman who go home because they haven't gotten involved or made an effort to make friends. There are partys, sometimes they get busted up, other times there aren't.

For those who do not drink, the programs that they have on campus are really fun!! You can win prizes, eat food, and hang out with friends.

This campus is really friendly. It is small and you do see cliques of friends, but you see that happening at all schools. It's important to keep an open mind though. We are a VERYYYYY welcoming community, no matter who you are or where you come from. It is nice to know you can be yourself.

***It is really important to really take a look at college. They offer tours all year round as well as open houses fall and spring. Students who transfer tend to transfer because they didn't really see all aspects of the college. Really think about what you're looking at for a college. Like I said, I have had such wonderful experiences here. I've also had some hard times too, but i wouldn't trade it for anything.
