I transferred here for my third year and I have never been more disappointed in my life!!!!! most of the people here are complete jerks. The administration totally has their heads up their asses. Everyone is totally disorganized and no one seems to have a clue what's going on. You can never get any questions answered. The only piece of paperwork that doesn't get lost is your bill. If you ask someone for help, no one seems to want to help you and you get passed off from one person to the next at least five times. You can never get a straight answer. Oh wait, I forgot, it must be a prerequisite that you must be psychic in order to attend this school! This is the worst school I have ever attended. I've never been treated like such crap in my entire life. Even some of the professors are total asses. A lot of them treat you as a number and don't even want to know your name. Some of the professors are great, don't get me wrong, but the amount of jerks around this place is ridiculously high. I've never met such a bunch of arrogant, condescending people in my entire life. And the students...wow, some of them are even worse. I can't believe these people believe it's okay to act the way they do and treat others in this manner. How pathetic. A lot of people are going to have a rude awakening some day. How depressing. Just about everything about this school is a complete nightmare!!! I really wish I could think of one good thing to say, but I can't. I'm transering next semester, thank god. What a hell hole.

Westfield State is in a small town that is always under construction, which makes it difficult to get around. The college does a good job of making students feel safe and the campus is always clean. Many students do go home on the weekends, which makes it difficult for the school to put on successful events. The meals are usually very good and they have something for everyone. Most of the students are very approachable and friendly. There are lots of intramural teams to join and they are competitive but fun at the same time. The only issue that I have with the school is that they took on too many students this year and there are many forced triples in rooms that were not made to hold three people.

At first, I loved WSC, but that is because I made a bunch of friends and was drinking/partying almost everynight. When I stopped drinking, I found my friends completely CRAZY and way clingy. The students here are fucking creepy! There are SOME cool people.
As for the staff... they hate class as much as a student would. They are not helpful and only a select few actually care. First semeste I hardly made it to class and got out with B's and C's.
The buildings are kinda gross and outdated, except the new president is working on making the whole campus updated.
If you need something done by the office of wsc, such as transcripts, or advising, forget about it. The staff losing paper work, and is over all unenthusiastic and just not wanting to do their job.
If you want a smallish school where you go to class and party with slutty girls and creepy guys, go here! I feel your best expirience would be having a few close friends, who are academically motivated, and don't party.
I had great grades before I came to wsc, andI ended up hating it so much I dropped out and went to a community college. Unless you intend coming here ALL FOUR YEARS (So hard to get the staff to hep with transfer outs etc) pick a different school. I would have rather spent the extra tuition money to go to a private school.
