| Bright | Well well well aacc.. any a s s hole can come.. let that be one of the best lines given to this school. well i decided to come to aacc for a little while and some classes under me and get some money in the pocket and to descided what i wanted to do. well this school wasnt a very good choice.. supposally this is one of the best school on the east cost and so it might seem but this school is just like high school. i was soo glad when i got out of that hell hole highschool then i ended up going here and wow what a change. NOT!! if i were you id get out of this town and maybe out of the state.. I hear maryland sucks too if your looking at school in maryland.. look in virginia.. would i come here again. NO. would i send my kid there. def. not. what a waste. now i have to deal with transfering and im going to feel like a freakin freshmen when im already 30 credits in.. oh well life goes on but not in this town.. plus one more thing everyone in this school still lives with there parents .. | Bright | Very helpful staff, staff greatly interested in student success. Most staff make sure students think critically, not something one finds much in accounting. | Education Quality: A+, Social Life: C+ | | | |

| Quite Bright | Film Study and History were the only types of courses I found challenging here, to add to the comment by the other student. Although one history professor passed everyone because that is what she said students paid for. I dropped her class (Gomez was her last name) when she said this. Tengwall is good too in History. A bit cocky (so is Gonder for that matter, but in a friendly way) but I expect that from smart people. I'm at a 4-year now and my courses hold up as well as those I took at AACC (at least by these professors). | Faculty Accessibility: A, Social Life: F | | | |

I never expected to find a film program at a community college. Dr Gonder is a wonderful resource for film transfer students; he IS the program and he is very intelligent. If you want to study film aesthetics, his classes are highly recommended. Production classes are just OK. If you don't have the money and want to study film, don't be afraid to go here for a year or two. "Academic advising" is a joke though; talk to Dr Gonder if you want advice. See the school film website, I forget the url or I would put it here. Lots of dim bulbs among the students though. They mostly drop off by the time you get to the 200 level classes. | Education Quality: A+, Social Life: F | | | |
