Hopkins Med School is a fantastic place to be if you want the best clinical education around and want to be the best doctor you can be. The faculty here are very interested in molding you into the best as well, and take substantial effort and time to teach you. Of course, the research here is phenomenal as well so if you want to be a lab rat then there are plenty of opportunities. The only downside is the area around the campus, which is high crime and poverty-stricken. The campus itself is OK because of armed guards on every corner, but once you stray off campus, it gets ugly quick. That being said, I still love this place and have learned so much here. There's a special character associated with being a Hopkins doc, and after I came here I understood why the rest of the nation (and the world) gives it such lofty respect.
