The social life is all partying, which is ALOT of fun and a great way to meet ALOT of different people, but drinking 4 nights a week for 4 years gets old. It is close to the beach, which is a plus. The biology department is GREAT! and the actual school itself is good, but once you walk off campus... beware. The city of salisbury is AWWWWWFULLLLLL and the cops do nothing about it because they are too busy writing parking tickets or niose violations. Our house was broken into more than 5 times and it is not safe to walk around at night and I eventually began sleeping with weapons at arms length. It is a shame because the school gets an A but the location gets an F. Education Quality: A+, Surrounding City: F Have a Question? Blog about this comment from your webpage or Blog, or MySpace account: Just copy and paste! <script src='http://www.studentsreview.com/active/shared/sr_comment.js?sckey=59371&uid=634'></script> <a href='http://www.studentsreview.com' style='font-size:8pt;'>Data Source: StudentsReview!</a> Rate this comment: Useless (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) Helpful       Save Physical Therapy/Exercise Science  Major Salary, Salary Trend, Satisfaction, Unemployment Super Brilliant i absolutely loved the school. i came here from new jersey as an athletic training major and a varsity swimmer. i made a lot of incredible friends and had equally great professors. the exercise science department is wonderful with professors who truly care about their students.unfortunately, the school is a bit conservative just because it's a little south of where i'm from. the biggest problem i had with SU (and the reason i transferred after my sophomore year) is that i was petrified to leave my apartment at night because even walking to the car seemed dangerous. the police and the town don't care about the safety of students. i cannot tell you how many of my friends have been mugged or threatened in the neighboring area. there were armed robberies in our apartment complex multiple times. the school recently did a survey and over 50% of students don't feel safe leaving campus or walking outside at night.
