I started school here in January of 2012 and am currently a sophomore. I plan on transferring in the fall because this school caters to mediocrity. The standards are very low and a majority of the students come from the inner city (which would not necessarily be a bad thing if the students could speak correctly, if their language was corrected by the teachers, or if they weren't enrolled only so that they can "make dat money"). A degree here will be worth nothing in the job-world because of the kinds of people that were able to obtain it-- the kinds who made it through four years of college and still don't know the difference between "they is" and "they are." This is a good school if you only want to keep your parents off your back, if you are lazy and just want to get by, or if you want to freeload off the system while you prepare to work in a restaurant for the rest of your life.

Not so bright
Save you money; the undergraduate education that you recieve here is the equivalent to that of a CC. This school doesnt prize nor recognize talented students, and as a result those students often transfer. If you want to go to a teir one grad school, it is a tougher doing it from here.

I've been an undergrad student at University of Baltimore for 18 months now, and have two more semesters until graduation. The Business - Finance specialization program has been particularly captivating, and while classes are not always super challenging due to great diversity in the mental capacity of classmates, there have been many positive take-away's. In comparison to other local colleges, UB is a great value for money and provides a degree with increasing regional brand recognition.
