This is an absolutely wonderful school.Quite BrightPreMed and Medical
This is an absolutely wonderful school. It is small, but there are so many benefits because of it. Many faculty members knew my name after the first year, even if they never had me in class. Most of the faculty really cares about students. Some eat in the dining hall regularly, and they make themselves available to students. For people who think that their isn't anything to do on campus--- they obviously do not put themselves out there and join events and clubs. It's very easy to be busy on campus with classwork, work, clubs, and activities. Yes, there are things that need to be fixed, but all schools have problems. With all of the requirements, I have already become a more well rounded student after one year. I couldn't imagine going to a large university where I am just a number in the student population. At Saint Joe's, I am a person that feels valued.

Should be called Saint Josephs Boarding school .Average
Should be called Saint Josephs Boarding school . This isn't college it's like high school all over again. The party's are a J.o.k.e. You will lucky to find anything to do on weekdays or weekends. Everyone always goes home every weekend so the campus is always a Ghost town. This school is good if you like to do nothing in you're free time and just play vidoe games all day. Some of the teachers in the communications department are incompetent and should be ask to leave and let someone that knows what their doing in. Another issue with this school is the face that they mickle and dime you any chance they can. Lab fees for nursing students, damage fees from living in the dorms even if you're not the one that did the damage. Be aware freshmen you will be paying at least 50$ in damages each semester. It's a pretty campus but gets painfully cold in the winter . So if you don't like the cold don't come here.

Pre-Med program.AverageBiology
Pre-Med program. Contrary to what I was told, some of the classes were rather large. 40 students in a class. Also college said professors were available for help. I found this to not be true, I needed help in one of the classes but could only get help during lunch, I had another class at this time so never got the help. Try to sign up for New York trip and it was full. Need to pay a lot of money to go to Haiti or Guatemala. I was looking forward to taking advantage of these extracurricular activities and could not. I feel I wasted the money and could have got the same results at a much cheaper school.
