Not so bright
Okay so this school is a great school and a bad school depending your personality. The school Is a fun school you can go to parties everynight you can hang out with friends everynight go to football games hockey games or frats it's what u make of it! But now there are some people that go here that idk why they go here because they hate people and don't meet people it's collee you have to try to meet people don't sit in your dorm all day. Another down fall of this school is the admissions office I had to go through sooo much to get into this school and people who went to my school that did worse then me got in know problem I was so mad to say the least. But the school is a very nice school the frats are very nice looking houses I would love to join one. The sports team players are very friendly and don't act snobby. The weight room is excellent also. People usually meet at Parties so i suggest going to a couple there fun and exciting but warning if the cops show up leave!!!! Do what the cop says If Your unde 21 drinking dont fall for the " hide in the house somewhere" NO do not do that leave with everyone else the cops just want the party to be over they arnt looking to arrest peope inless it is needed and also the frats are very controlled parties if u have drank and can't drive they have sober brothers to drive u home they r great people but u she to think its THERE house don't get mad if they won't let u in its there home. The schools what you make of it and it is a school with many different things to do.

bad everything. some really below-par students that probably don't belong in college but go here because in state costs pennies compared to normal schools or out of state tuition. bad new england dispositions. students can be nice but are not outgoing or independent. some buildings look like warzones meanwhile a new 3 million dollar rec center was built last year so the hick basketball playing kids can go hang out. professors are willing to help you out, but course material is not very engaging so u probably wont need it as long as you go to class or follow the syllabi and TA's are absolute garbage.go to a better school, i know about 75% of mainers that stay in state after graduation work on a fucking assembly line in a paper factory or just move back with their parents. help yourselves. stay away.

I personally am not happy here. I do not like the Explorations program that I am it. The class first year seminar is a waste of time and could be better spend doing other things. My classes are huge with 3 out 5 having 200+ people. I came to a smaller university becuase i wanted to avoid the huge classes.

People pretty much clear out on the weekends and go home. Every night there is at least one party going on along frat lane or whatever its called. Lots of people come back to the dorm drunk and loud. My friends are nice and like to do things.

The dorm rooms are not in nice condition. The walls need to be repainted and there are marks of random stuf on the walls. Good thing our hall got refurnished this year. Still isn't really nice. I'm planning on transferring to a different school next year where i can have more one on one learning and smaller classes.
