I don't go to UMO, but I live in the surrounding area. Umo makes it into the papers quite often for students involved in the athletics program getting suspended for underaged drinking, frat parties, ect. Also, many students (and Mainers from across the state) are big fans of Maine's hockey program.

Undecided

I had been out of school for 22 years when going back for my masters. It was difficult at first but the professors were really willing to put in an extra effort to help me at the beginning. It was so difficult to get back on track I was going to quit, but my professor met with me and stated she felt I had it and worked with me to get me through that first class. From there it has been great and I have learned allot. The professors really care that you learn something. I would recommend it to any student.
