The student body is mostly all the same.Quite BrightPsychology
The student body is mostly all the same. Upper middle class white kids from the bubble of suburban Detroit. Not very diverse at all. There's really nothing to do on campus, so most kids join fraternities or sororities. After a while, the atmosphere at the school just feels like high school all over again.

For a liberal arts school, it's not very liberal. Most of the students are on the conservative side. Campus safety is more concerned with busting kids smoking weed and drinking than investigating serious matters. The one redeeming quality of the institution is the education. If you want to learn. This is the place. The small classes and open professors make the learning experience a lot better. I've had difficult professors, but not a single bad professor at Albion.

Question
When coming to Albion you must be preparedQuite BrightCommunications
When coming to Albion you must be prepared for a smaller campus. I personally love the small and tight knit feeling I get from being on campus. If you are used to big city life then it will take a little more getting used to. You cannot sit in your room and hide you have to be active on campus. You get out of it what you put into. Albion is great.

Question
It's a great school, but very expensive.Quite BrightPsychology
It's a great school, but very expensive. The faculty try to make the price worth it by being available and are very interactive outside of the classroom. I see faculty around town, I've been to professors homes, and they've taken my class out for meals. It is a very welcoming campus, and I feel safe for the most part. The town is a little shady with not a lot to do. There isn't a grocery store or many places to eat in walking distance. But the classes are great and there is a lot to do with extracurriculars and through Greek life. I'm not Greek, but I still enjoy attending the events!
