Not so bright
I like this college. It's easier than I expected college to be and it's a good way to go to school fast and be out in the real world in no time with a good career. The campus is safe, there is security everywhere you look... even though they look more like rent-a-cops.... but there nice. They also have a library with computers where I study a lot. It is very useful.

I love Baker and I would recomend it to anyone and everyone. It is the perfect school, no busy work. I feel like I'm always working toward my degree and not just wasting time. I also love the ten week trimesters. They always seem to go by so fast and it makes me feel like I'm really accomplishing something. They do not drag on and on slowly. Baker College in Muskegon is just a beautiful place to be and the people here are always friendly and helpful.

Think twice before attending! Most courses will not transfer to other universities- you will be pouring your hard earned money down the drain.

School treats its students like children- not like the adults that they are. Little things like not being able to select your own books in the bookstore (need to give your registration to the staff; they get the books for you...so much for trying to browse or compare prices), having to show school ID even for small purchases like a pencil.

Staff goes out of its way to be as unhelpful as possible. If you have a question, you need to word it in just the right way, or they will not help you- even if they know what you want.

School believes its own hype about being a prestigious buisness college, but let's face it. The only kids who really go, are those that have expired other educational opportunities. School should get real and see that for what it is- a last chance for students to turn things around academically. I admit to being one of those students, and for that, I am grateful that there are "last ditch" schools out there. My record is now strong enough to stand on its own.

My experience at Baker College was horrible. The resident halls were loud and dirty. It seems as if the Resident Hall staff could care less. I had a roomate steal, break, stain and lock me out of my room and they gave her a slap on wrist. Campus is very unsafe. There are quite a few crimes. I would no recomend going here if you plan on having a social life. There is one positive, good classes but you dont feel like anyone cares in the class and the people are scary... It's gotten to the point where I have moved out of housing and making a 2 hour commute. That is why I am leaving and going to Grand Valley State University.
