I'm sorry but I do not agree with other reviews on here. I know that I have only went to this school for a short period of time, but it has been a very pleasant experience. This school is more for people who WANT to learn than for people who think school is needed for a social experience. I highly recommend this school for parents and working adults. They are very helpful at working with their students to accommodate them around THEIR schedule. This school is more concerned with teaching a student every day skills than worrying about whats going to happen Friday night. The first year advisers are excellent at helping you as with all the other advisers, in which you can go to about any questions(regardless of how stupid you may think it is). This school offers TWO hours of FREE tutoring, and if needed more after you have to pay. In which most other schools you have to pay for ANY tutoring. As far as not knowing which teachers will be teaching a course, of course you will not know the first time in. But if you really come to like a teacher they usually know before the class is started when and if they will be teaching it and are very polite and answering if they are so to make it easy for someone to change their schedule. Ive done many times. As far as security. I have never had any issues as far as being "scared" while attending this school and I have many night classes. This is an EXCELLENT school for single parents, parents, working adults and persons with life outside of school who want to focus on LEARNING.

I would agree with many of the other comments. I have had some outstanding instructors, but a couple who really should find another line of work. The evaluations are not given out until the last week, so many students have already left; they could be done online to be more accurate and maybe "weed out" the few bad ones. The surrounding city is pretty bad, but that's what happens when all the jobs/factorys have been moving overseas for the last 20 yrs. I really think we should be told that the credits don't transfer, etc.Lots of "secrets" that you don't find out 'til it's too late. For instance, you don't know who the instructor is until you get to class the first day. If they put it in the schedule, there are a few who no one would ever take their classes; I was called "stupid" by one teacher (I have a 3.2).My "academic advisor" obviously doesn't like me, dammed if I know why. I've learned a lot, but if I had to do it all over again, I'd go somewhere else. Very expensive, too.

The terms are too short. They don't tell you upon admission that the credits don't transfer to almost anywhere else. It is obviously "for Profit." It has a 23% graduation rate (according to FAFSA); I can't believe the government even gives financial aid to this place. Not worth the money (which is considerable).
