All in all Baker College is really notBrightComputer Science
All in all Baker College is really not worth the money. One teacher in particular at the Allen Park campus would hand out A's like he's handing out candy on Halloween.

The curriculum could have been better too in that I was forced to take two classes of a language called RPG IV which for entry level developers like me isn't worth pursuing because most positions demand 10 years+ experience with a mainframe language like that.

I switched to an on-line format to help finish faster and when I wanted to switch back to an on campus format to finish my degree they wouldn't let me because the program they offered (Bachelor in CIS) was no longer being offered.

I wanted to switch back to on campus because they have a class that requires an internship program and they find you an internship. At that point I was forced to take a B.S class online that took up way too much of my time and was filled with ridiculous busy work that never really benefited me.

Once I graduated I needed to fax my transcripts over to a company I applied for and they refused to help me. I wish I had saved money and went to a public university.

When I went into the conseling office atArchitecture
When I went into the conseling office at Baker College I was just starting my college experience. The lady told me the architect program was excellent with good job prospects. After 1.5 years in this program I learned thru trying to get a job that this course is NOT ACCREDITED. I was young and stupid, but how do they promote a course that is not accredited to their students? I WISH I COULD THANK THE COUNSELOR FOR HER HELP BUT SHE WAISTED 2 YEARS OF MY LIFE AND $20,000. BAKER IS ALSO OVERPRICED!!

Baker College of Flint is overall an 'okay'Quite BrightComputer Science
Baker College of Flint is overall an 'okay' school. The classes aren't very hard, and the teachers aren't that bad. I'm not going to say all, but most of the teachers will be happy to help you out if you need anything, though some make you feel stupid for not knowing something. I left the school after 2 semesters because I honestly couldn't take the campus. If you live on campus, it's a great idea to have a car, because staying on a campus with NOTHING to do is going to drive you crazy!
