| My experience at CMU has not been a good one. The academics here are not challenging in the least, and often teachers seemed unprepared-although they were helpful if asked. Not worth the time or money.. |

| I would not really listen to the negative comments made about CMU. Actually, it is a great place to learn and a fabulous campus to live on. I have been to pretty much every campus in Michigan, and CMU is gorgeous. Not to mention that there is a lot to do, and great parties! The people here are friendly and nice, and you can make some great friends. I think a lot of people leaving negative comments are really arrogant and dont like to go out and mingle with people! |

I have to say I am somewhat disapointed I have to say I am somewhat disapointed in Central Michigan University. Espescially after touring other schools while still enrolled at CMU. When I completed my undergraduate degree in 2001 I was both relieved and unsatisfied. I was happy that I didn't have take another course at CMU...but unhappy that I earned a diploma with "Central Michigan University" on it. I was an average high school student that made the Dean's List at CMU on many occasions. This is not a challenging school by any means. |
Here's something every CMU student should do: go to the University of Michigan and tour the campus and sample the nightlife. Then ask yourself...couldn't I've
done better in High School? Don't I deserve a better education?
I have made 5-6 lifelong friends from CMU...3 of them are still unemployed after graduating
3 years ago, the other two are attending graduate school at another University.
My advise to any incoming freshmen: please search dilligently for the right school. Look
for schools in other states that interest you. Most of us get only one shot at receiving higher education.
