I regret every second of having to be here. It is very cold/windy and the city sucks. It was okay at first but now the parties are getting old. The academic standards...Oh wait there aren't any!!!! If you are breathing I am sure that you could get into Central! Most if not all social events revolve around drinking, so if that is you, then come join the rest of the stupid drunks at Central Not all the professors are pompous a**holes but the ones that are you should avoid at all costs. I should have gone GRCC and then transfer to a real school. In other words save your time and money by staying the hell away from Central Michigan University! Extra curriculars and sports. Partied a lot in high school, Central seemed like a good place to go. Not some crazy party scene where you'll get stabbed or mugged (MSU or WMU), and not a bunch of ugly women (UofM). You will have a hell of a time if that's what you're looking for. Came for Radio Broadcast, has a Poli. Sci. prof change my entire outlook, became an International Relations and Comparative Politics major. All of these comments about profs who don't speak english, it's like that at every university, and it's called globalism. This isn't high school, it isn't the professor or the university's job to hold your hand. Be active, control your destiny, and it will be the best decision you ever made.
