Super Brilliant
There is no reason to spend $20k a year to attend this school when for $30k a year you could attend a world-class art school like the Cranbrook Academy of Art, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Rhode Island School of Design, Yale School of Art, etc., etc. Don't be afraid to leave Michigan.

I am one of the few car design students. You need to be talented and totally devoted to design, or you won't make it. You don't learn from teachers. It is a shame I have to learn things like high end computer design programs during internships while tuition is $30,000 plus/yr. It is a shame many teachers don't teach, often don't show up, and are beyond rude.IT is a shame I have to pay tuition while I am working an internship unless I postpone my grad. date. It is a shame I feel I pay all this money to meet people from the industry I will be working in and for the name of the school on my degree.

Look to the instructors that are still working in the field. For some reason, a lot of the chairs of the departments are just glorified paper shufflers now that hardly practice what they preach any more. The adjunct faculty are the true backbone of the place.
