I have attended DU for 2 years, going for my MBA. And I personally love the school. I will admit that a select and very few (like 1 or 2) professors are a bit lazy, but after the second semester, I have not seen them back here to teach. I feel confident with my school choice and although it is pricey, it is no more pricey than MSU or U of M or even Baker College. Your experience is what you make it, as with anything in life.

Super Brilliant
Davenport is a great school for students that are looking for small class sizes and a more personalized education. The school provides hands on learning with real world issues that prepare you for the workforce.

The business school is the largest business school in the state of Michigan, and continues to provide innovative degrees to be on the forefront of economic trends. The administration has been asked by the President to be nimble and quick to bring these new degrees to students to match job market demands.

While the quality of students and student life has been very poor in the past, the construction of a new residential campus is quickly improving the students life. The university is attracting more traditional age college students that live the college life in the brand new apartment style dorms (with their own kitchen). The student life department, along with dedicated students, has started student clubs, recreation, and improved the student experience to match the traditional college experience. Look for Davenport to continue to grow in size and quality and become a force in the future for education in business, health, and technology.

I had a great experience in both my undergraduate degree and graduate degree at Davenport University that led successful employment upon graduation. The majority of the course work is in the areas that you look to go into professionally and therefore do not waste time on busy classes that just take time and money to complete.
