Hello everyone who is seeking a good college
Hello everyone who is seeking a good college and somehow end up looking at Ferris State University: Ferris State University is the worst university ever. If you have lots of time to WASTE and want to meet RUDE people like ADMISSIONS and want to continue like that until you graduate, this is the right place/college for you. There are good colleges out there worth your effort, money, and time. Just STAY AWAY from Ferris State, they think about themselves and they think they're giving out education. I dealt with the directors all the way up to the President, and they are all deaf to any problems.

Question
Ferris state is located in the worst placeAverageEngineering Department
Ferris state is located in the worst place it could possibly be. the only thing to do here is drink as much as you can from 11 to 1 am or bowl. there is no parties here anymore and if there is there is a bouncer at the door charging admission. the staff for the program are very nice and friendly if your here for a tour or trying to get into the program after that they wont talk to you and you will end up doing most of the learning from online sources. ferris will actively try to take every single dollar that you have. parking passes for commuters cost $100 and you will still have to pay for a parking meter and on top of that they make over $5,000 off students in parking tickets a month alone. they are also redoing campus and raising housing cost on campus to pay for them. bottom line this place stinks and you can get a better value for your money by going anywhere else.

Question
After realizing that i wanted pursue a careerQuite BrightCriminal
After realizing that i wanted pursue a career in Law Enforcement, i transferred to Ferris from Central Michigan. The strength of the criminal justice program is well known throughout law enforcement circles and has opened doors for me as i am pursuing internships and employment. It is important to realize that the strength of Ferris is in specific programs;this is not the place to get a general education. I really enjoy the social atmosphere here being a smaller school there are a lot of opportunities to make connections and people within programs often end up in tight groups. So far as things to do on the weekend there are times when you have to get creative but that's half the fun of college. I really have enjoyed my stay here and i look forward to next year and will be sad when it's time to go.
