I am a freshman student at kettering university going for a mechanical engineering degree. The first thing is that the class are good and challenging but no impossible thanks to the small class sizes. The bad things are that you don't see where your large tuition goes no classes get renovated just random testing material. The other thing is that the food is terrible. Everyone agrees that the food is terrible year after year but no one fixes it. Also you get pushed second as a student to other high school sports teams that come in and use our rec center and other people who come in for testing even though you pay fot iy.

The grad who Kettering/Liberty sued, who has decades of business and turnaround experience, offered to run the School for LESS than the highest paid teacher - thereby putting the emphasis and money on the most important aspect of the School, the learning experience.

This school puts fees on top of fees. Dr. Liberty must be the greediest pile of crap in Flint. An alumni tried to inform the public of Kettering Universities issues and instead of trying to fix the problem, Kettering sues the poor guy. They do not know how to run a business, and ironically do not know what "co-op"eration means.

As far as admission goes, they will take in a kid with down syndrome as long as they get his $30k per year tuition.General Motors laid off all their co-ops from Kettering, another ironic event seeing as Kettering used to be called General Motors Institute. I guess they are just called Institute now.
