I'm surprised to not see any reviews for KCC! I have gone there off and on for about 7 years. I'm a working dad, so I don't get to go every semester. I have attended WMU and love KCC. Pretty decent parking, great instructors and a great price. They don't offer any classes beyond 200 classes, but it's a great place to get the basics. If you have kids who have aspirations of attending a major University, have them attend KCC first. It's cheaper, not as intimidating, and the credits transfer to just about everywhere. It's not really a social setting, just a place to learn. This also means few distractions for those who need to ease into College life and not be thrown to the wolves at University campuses. Not to say KCC is dead either. They ahve a great performing arts program that puts on shows ans thier basketball team is one of the best in thier conference.

Bottom line: small classes, cheap prices, great learning atmosphere, and feel confident when transfering those credits to somewhere else. And as a side note. I am in the military and thier VA office is on top of things. I've never had any problems and everything has been seemless.
