After doing my pre-classes for nursing and waiting for 3 years to get into the nursing program...Its not worth it! The instructors treat you like crap..they try to weed out the students. Its proven that 40 students will start the semester but when all is said and done only 18 or 19 will make it...This is bull considering all the time and effort that is put into class work before even being accepted into the program. The instructors don't care about the students. I just caution all the people that want to be nurses and are working on classes and plan to wait on their waiting list...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! You'll be much happier.

Quite Bright
I started at KVCC and eventually transferred to WMU. I loved KVCC. I absolutely hated Western.

Beyond the obvious price advantage of KVCC, it is truly an excellent school. Every school has a few "bad apple" teachers, but few schools have so many teachers who are actually interested in both the students and the courses they teach. Many of these instructors have actually been involved in life outside the university, rather than just professors who have only been in school their entire lives before moving into the educational field. The classes are small, and they have a ton of services available to students. You aren't just another number, another tuition nab at KVCC. I wouldn't trade my time there for any other school.

Valley is what it is, a community college. That doesn't make it a bad thing. If you don't know what you want to major in, or want to save some money, check out Valley.

Teachers, for the most part, are nice and easy to talk with. Though, you will always have a few that aren't.

Social live isn't much (because it is a CC), a few clubs, but nothing great. Sports almost don't exist.
