The campus feels like home; it's beautiful.Most of the buildings are renovated and very nice. The food is great! There are many resources. If you don't like to party (like me), it can be a little difficult to socialize past 6pm, but with all of the clubs and friendly people, you won't be lonely. Don't listen to a lot of the hate. U of M is renowned and will stay renowned so long as the expectations for their glory don't force everybody to drop. I live near Ann Arbor. I thought it was great. Got into U of M even. MSU is totally where its at with acadmeics at the same level or better in many respects. (Ex. Education, top rated in the country whereas U of M's is quite literally a joke.)
