I have many mixed emotions on Olivet College. There are many reasons I came close to transferring and very few why I chose to stay. Greek life is the main reason I chose to stay at Olivet, but adminstration is trying to take that away from us. They do not realize that the majority of their biggest donors are from the Greek Houses and many of the honor students are also members of the Greek Houses, but the adminstration looks at us as if we are a bunch of alcoholic troublemakers.

The judicial system here is beyond corrupt. The head of it is manipulative; he has already decided whether or not he thinks you are guilty before you walk in the door. Since it is a private college they can get away with a lot which is really sad because it has made the college faculty untrustworthy.

The psychology program would have been a complete waste of time if they had not have gotten the new professor. She is very bright in the field and challenging. Yet, the school has come close to firing her because students whine she is "too hard."

Olivet will not come close to preparing you for the real world... so be ready to prepare yourself. If you chose to come here, please get involved. Extra-curricular activities are the only way to not be bored on campus.

Olivet has a good business program. Classes taught by the department chair can be exhausting. The low key atmosphere on campus is conducive to studying. Great school if you play a sport. The school is small and people are nice but it gets dead on weekends often.

Olivet College is racist to White People. African Americans get special treatment while other students get screwed over

I will never donate a dime to this institution.
The faculty favors certain students and will screw over the ones they dont like.
The school is trying to get rid of greek life which runs the school and allows the minority houses to sell drugs without punishment. They know the houses that have drugs and dont bother to go after themOlivet College is a joke
