I am currently an employed educator.BrightEducation
I am currently an employed educator. I was much better prepared coming out of SAU then my colleagues coming out of other universities. When you choose to attend SAU you need to do it because you want to be in a school with like minded individuals. As a Christian I wanted the environment and I thrived in it. If you are looking for a party school SAU is not for you. If you are looking to grow on your faith as well as earn your degree SAU would be a great choice.

The purpose of college is to grow inQuite BrightSociology
The purpose of college is to grow in knowledge and to find your footing in the world - SAU helps you accomplish both. The students are friendly, optimistic, and ready to change the world. The faculty is helpful but they are not enablers - they want you to think for yourself. I grew in faith with Christ - yes this is a Christian Liberal Arts school and it shows in everything that I experienced. The sports complex is cool, and there are always things going on around campus. Not everything is perfect, but the positive outweighed the negative. The campus is small, but not too small. I would attend again.

This school is a great place to findQuite BrightReligion/Religious
This school is a great place to find yourself as part of a community. Its the school to attend if you want real and intimate relationships. While not in the middle of the city, its only 10 minutes to downtown Jackson. A conservative school with conservative rules and attitudes. No drinking or drugs makes for a VERY safe environment to learn. Teachers are available 24/7. SAU is committed to strengthening its students faith in God and making sure every student feels valuable.
