If you could get past the boredom of the city, and the fact that this place has no exciting things to do apart from school work and occasional functions, feel free to come. Courses are easy, professors may hate you sometimes and grade you down but that happens everywhere. Bad city though, car is a must for a happy living, or friends to give you rides and get you away from the lonely city.

Peronalized academic experience, challenging, and brilliant professors. Commuter-oriented, so building student relationships are lacking. Flint is also not the most pleasant city...

I attended the University of Michigan Flint as an undergraduate and felt that it prepared me well for my post graduate work at an Ivy League Institution. Students and Facult generally demonstrate pride in the University and the community. My loyalty to all the University of Michigan campuses is unshakable and will be sustained through alumni and financial contributions.

The University of Michigan-Flint is a great school, however it is rather expensive and that is why I only spent 1 year there. If tuition was a more reasonable price, I would still be there.
