I went to Washtenaw for the nursing program, and although it took about two years on a waiting list, the program itself was wonderful. It was very difficult, but when it came time to find a job and start working, I believe that WCC prepares you better than any other program around.

Not so bright
The networking program is the best. The networking instructors are the best. You will learn more about real life stuff than you can imagine. Cisco and Microsoft are so intense you will leave with job skills. The security program is a waste of time.

Motorcycle Service Technology vs M.M.I. why pay 20 thousand dollars for a 1 year program when you can get way better education for 3,200 in 1.5-3 years depending on your drive, with a teacher ratio of 10:1 instead of 30:1. This program is the best motorcycle mechanic program in the nation, with its own inertia dyno. Trust me if you are looking to be a service technician this is the place to go. We won the Gold in nationals last year, an continue to do so in welding and fabrication. THIS IS MICHIGANS BEST WELL KEPT SECRET.

The head of the program Mike Shute has been racing and won many national titles in both HD and Dirtbking. He brought the best guys he knew in the field thought out his years. Ton of valuable infomation on how to run a service department. He worked for the HD dealer in Milwakee, running the service dept. Mike quadrupled the gross revenue from 500,000 to 2 million in 4 years.

JW- This guy is the one that does all the behind the scenes stuff to make this program so great. Great guy with a great attitude, these guys all get along great being that they have worked together for the last 15+ years.
