I went in there thinking it was like every other "Private" College with the snooty rich kids who think too much of themselves and not enough about others. When I was at the visit I was wandering around and met up with 3 guys of different races and backgrounds. We ended up staying up all night and getting to know a bit about how we all came together at this school. I found that for my future in Business I had to meet a different diverse group of people, and I knew that this would be the place to go. If your looking for a party school you may want to pass. . . but if your looking for a place that can jumpstart you to a successful career you need to think about Augsburg for your future. P.S. - The other great thing about the school is the location so if you like to party you have the U of M right next door. Faculty Accessibility: A+, Social Life: C Have a Question? Furthermore certain individuals in the philosophy faculty are arrogant and self absorbed and have been known to apply negative labels and have a tendency to prejudge people without getting to know them, which is antithetical to the open-mindedness a philospher is supposed to have. I think faculty at Augsburg and not only students should have diversity and anti-harassment training. Perceived Campus Safety: A+, Education Quality: F Have a Question?
