Super Brilliant
I have really enjoyed my time at century. The staff have always been helpful, and the teachers are always willing to converse with me when they are available. I am a returning adult to college, and I like the mix of ages in the students. It doesn't have the whole "student life" subculture that many traditional colleges have, so often times there aren't as many avenues to get to know students. ON the positive side, no one is on a "free ride" athletic scholarship, in other words the people that are there are there to take classes, not to play sports or to party for that matter. True it isn't a great college name for a diploma, but a great place to knock out those generals for cheap in a "Small School" atmosphere. I'd say the greatest asset has been the faculty, I've made some great friends with my instructors.

Century is good as a transitional school. For me, it was close to home and was much more affordable than the private schools I looked into. Plus, I am able to complete my general education requirements for a lower cost so that I can afford the four year university I'm hoping to attend to complete my bachelor's degree. The academic quality is okay... the teachers are, for the most part, enthusiastic and informed, and the material is very straightforward. Overall, century is not an academic challenge - it's more of a place to find yourself and to explore your interests. For intellectual stimulation, look to a four year college or university.

I have learned what I needed to learn. I needed time to work with myself and found it to be the right environment at Century to develop my skills.
