Sort By: [Date] [Major] [Rating] Animal Studies  Major Salary, Salary Trend, Satisfaction, Unemployment Quite Bright I already had my Bachelor's degree in Communications when I went to MIM to receive my A.A.S. degree in Veterinary Technology. I had a much better experience at MIM than I did for my Bachelor's. I really felt the teachers in the Vet Tech program were friendly and had the student's best interest in mind. Also, the class sizes are small and the labs were very "hands-on". I was surprised at the curriculum - I thought it would be easier! Education Quality: A, Social Life: C Have a Question? I have traveled and held many different positions. I thought I would never work in a middle size hospital as a Microbiology Supervior in which I have been now for seven years. It is a hard but self rewarding career. There are times when I thought of doing something different, but making a difference in people's lives today and making medical decisions is a great factor in life. It is difficult at times but again rewarding. I wish more students would see this and understand that this is a great career and not to hold back. Starting Job: Asst. Some are kind and helpful, but others seem like they either dont know what they are doing or don't want to help. The clinic is very difficult. You need very specific patients which are hard to get.
