Run, run as fast as you can from here.Super BrilliantReligion/Religious
Run, run as fast as you can from here.
Want to be discriminated against as a woman? Want to become a baby factory for your pastor husband? Come here then. You'll never have an ounce of freedom. Free your mind and run away. Fast.

This school has pathetic academics. I felt like I was back in high school.
Also, was told by a professor that I shouldn't be in school because I had ADD. Well, guess what buddy, that's pretty illegal. Cool, they discriminate against students with learning disabilities? I mean, who wouldn't want to go there?

Oh, and don't get me started on the mold in the dorm rooms....
But seriously, run. This is no college, this is a brainwashing institution. I lost two years of my life here.Run.

They claim the education is wonderful and comprehensive,Quite BrightEducation
They claim the education is wonderful and comprehensive, but it's mediocre at best. They train you to teach one demographic: white middle class Lutheran children. If you want to be prepared to teach anyone else, go somewhere else.

Women, if all you want is to find a Lutheran husband, then this is the place to go. But if you want to attend a college where you'll be respected, challenged, and given equal opportunities, you can go just about anywhere else and be better off. The attitude of "holier than thou" is rampant on this campus, and I would highly suggest that the faculty work on stamping out some of the arrogance. (This could be a considerable problem, though, since most of the faculty is almost unbearably aware of their great ministerial calling...) Yes, the emphasis on faith is great, but it doesn't make up for the downfalls of this school. Also, it's in New Ulm, MN. Middle of nowhere and negative temps 9 months of the year. If you don't die from the cold, you'll probably die from boredom!
