I had higher expectations of this school when i started but after my second semester almost all of my TAs/Professors(especially in my math major) do not speak English very well and/or are too hard to understand that it becomes too hard to learn the coursework without completely teaching yourself. Because of this and a major gap between the book info in courses and what professors expect students to learn that if you are not a far above average student it is hard to get a good grade.

Aside from the math department I have had mainly good experiences with most of the TAs/Professors.The final thing that has really hurt my appreciation of this school is that it is run too much like a business and not a place of education. They care more about making money, building a bigger campus/buildings, raising tuition and making senseless charges to students; rather than providing a quality education and support to the students. The majority of the counseling/advising staff offer little to no help.

This is a great college. As with any large University, you get out of it what you put into it. The Professors are friendly, and willing to help if you go in during office hours, see them after class, or email. There is also a tremendous resource in the library.

Super Brilliant
At such a large university, it can be easy to get lost in the crowd. Make sure to get involved in an extracurricular activity of some sort as soon as you can so that you can find your corner of campus. It makes college a lot more enjoyable!
