Super Brilliant
I believe that The University of Saint Thomas has given me the education that I sought. My education has meaning... It is about something... It is clear that my approach to education is about more than simply equipping me with the tools to get a job and be "successful" financially. The education I received at St. Thomas was one that prepared me for much more than that. The philosophy and theology classes were expertly blended with the calculus and history classes in such a way that the experience is a complete picture where all the pieces fit together perfectly. The experience was not just a process by which all wisdom is imparted onto me, it was a process through which I realized that there ware many other questions to ask. This experience can only be achieved when a university has faculty who are extremely gifted in their field of study and who do everything to go out of their way to be accessible for their students. I remember several times when faculty had students to their house for a class dinner and discussion, and these are just an example of how I (being a student who took every opportunity to do so) could begin to quench my thirst for wisdom & knowledge. I feel that the other students at St. Thomas generally felt the same way. I still have many friends that I met in classes with whom I often will spend entire evenings discussing, debating, learning, and laughing before we even realize what time it is. I know it might seem terribly inefficient and even a bit of madness, but as Seneca once said, “Nullum magnum ingenium sine mixtura dementiae fuit. ~ There has not been any great talent without an element of madness.” As crazy as it is seeking wisdom was, is, and forever will be my ultimate pursuit! The University of Saint Thomas was a great place for my goal to begin to be realized and for me to become that well-rounded individual I always thought I was. I would do it over again a thousand times!

Quite Bright
St. Thomas invests significant resources to the development of its engineering students. The facilities are outstanding and the faculty have been very approachable. I opted to accept a scholarship from St. Thomas and haven't been disappointed.

Super Brilliant
I've truly enjoyed my time at the University of St. Thomas. I came to the university on scholarship and have found their business program to be of high caliber. Faculty for the most part are friendly and extremely accessible. The campus is beautiful if you enjoy the asthetic of neogothic architecture. Overall, this has been a rewarding experience.
