Sort By: [Date] [Major] [Rating] Biology  Major Salary, Salary Trend, Satisfaction, Unemployment Quite Bright From a science standpoint, St. Thomas is a great school. There are many opportunities for undergraduate research that I feel are much more difficult to come by at larger research universities that are grad student based. The Biology department is also very well staffed and has some outstanding professors that care about your progress. As far as campus life goes, it is not as bad as many people say. It is located in St. Paul and there are a lot of small restaurants and bars within a few miles (might be a stretch to walk), and not everyone leaves on weekends. The people are generally very nice, and making friends was never an issue, but it can be annoying dealing with some of the trust fund kids. Overall, I had a very positive experience and I highly recommend St. Thomas. Education Quality: A+, Campus Aesthetics: F Have a Question? The school is expensive, there is going to be rich kids. It's also a Catholic school, so yes there is Catholic teachings. They don't force religion onto you. I've argued both sides of the Bible (mainly because it is sort of fun to get the seminarians pissed off) and my grade was never discounted. The finance program is basically the shit. I have very bright friends who also majored in finance at other schools in mn and I am much better set up for success. I received recommendation letters from all of my professors and never once had to even interview for an internship. I just got recommended and no questions were asked. Don't get me wrong, I do still know how to drop dick on an interview. But yeah St. Thomas is the shit. Girls are fucking hot too. Preparedness: -, Reputation: - Have a Question?
