I grew and developed by the great works of the Benedictine Monks. I believe they had a more challenge on their hands with me than I with them. I was immature when I came to CSC but with their dedication in teaching me, their patience of forming me to be more mature in my personal emotional life, has been a great blessing. I am now ordained a priest for 17 years, Lt/Col in the Air Force Air National Guard and hospital chaplain. My life has not been easy but the most rewarding. I am grateful for CSC. In order for a survey to be valid, other reviewers must be able to repeat the experiment and confirm the results. This site offers no such proof. Indeed, it is not true that any person who contributed information about Conception Seminary every attended it. More, the college itself has not contributed data to this survey, something essential in order for any of this to yield meaningful results. I got the impression the staff(Monks) did not really seem interested in helping students grow and become a success. They are only interested in justifying their position. The focus is on solid education and spiritual formation. The setting is the ultimate in RURAL, nonetheless, I find it ideal for the encounter with God that I seek, and the uncomforatble and challenging encounter with myself that I am coming to understand more and more. Despite the fact that we all come with somewhat the same goal, we are in very different places. I find the extreme orthodoxy of some students very difficult. I perceive it as lack of maturity and experience, but I feel it as judgemental, unkind and disruptive. There is much to learn inside and outside the classroom.
