talent knows no boundaries. Artists come from everywhere-different cultures,
different backgrounds. For every student who came to KCAI from a large city, there's another whose hometown you've never
heard of. For every student who grew up surrounded
by other talented artists, there's another who, up to now,
has been alone on his or her artistic journey.
Wherever you come from you will experience the rigors and
the rewards of a community of artists in a city
with a rich environment for the arts. You will live
and work alongside the most talented art students in the
country who, like you, have been invited to study here
based upon the strength of their talents and potential. More
