This university sucks hard!!!! If you are an off campus student in the summer you are not allowed to eat in the cafeteria. The food at the little want-to-be cafe will make you sick espeaically the sandwiches. You run into a lot of racists on campus (faculty included). And they (the university) will try every which way to steal your money. People have been charged for dorms they never lived in and never signed up for. Also the class selection is extremely limited an it gets worse in summer.

THIS COLLEGE SUCKS!!! DONT GO!! First its a dry campus the faculty are bias and they focus more on tardiness and attendace than understanding the work

THE CREDITS DONT TRANSFER!! 17 out of 42 i recieved there will transfer and thats to a community college!!!AND MOST OF ALL! the college im going to now asked them for proof i took an act there, they refused, all i needed was proof i took it and the score and they rudely refused, outright telling me they dont care, and they wont help me. This cost me 1 1/2 years and 17,000$ for a horrible experience and credits that wont transfer. DONT GO TO LINDENWOOD!!!

I transferred to Lindenwood as a married Junior, but I felt as if I was walking into the Twilight Zone. The campus housing we were given (at the cost of $3500 for each of us) had mold dripping down the walls, abandoned furniture, a completely unusable kitchen and bathroom, a padlocked garage filled with abandoned junk and more. The house had been broken into previously and was secured with an abandoned pianoe pushed against the back door. The houses and dorms are just gross.

I took heart in the idea that at least the education wouldn't be hard. It's less challenging than SLU and the community college. But, the teachers could care less about you and don't have the resources to help you. This school is not online as of Spring 2008. The most you can do online are some WEBCT quizzes. The lindenwood email has never worked for me. In fact, one of my teachers gave her class her personal email because it doesn't work for her either.

I carried a 3.5 GPA before transferring here, where I now find myself penalized for trying. Teachers will give me poor grades and say I am "too advanced" for the class.

Good luck dealing with the business office. They won't even look you in the eyes or move away from their perch/hiding spot. I worked a month of Work & Learn (A program where the government pays directly towards your tuition in exchange for students working on campus). The business office refuses to apply my work and learn to my balance. They want me to pay my balance out of pocket. So I've basically worked 40hrs free for them and I'm getting charged late fees.

Campus safety is a joke. I don't go near the campus after it gets dark. Every girl I know is scared to even be alone. The girls tend to form little groups to get by. I hear a lot of stories about rapes, especially gang rapes. There's a lot of pressure to hush things up and calling the police can get you into big trouble with the school.

What really unnerves me is how the school states they have a right to "enter any dormitory or campus housing, at any time, for any reason. Furthermore, un-announced inspections may be carried out several times throughout the year. This policy extends to bookbags and vehicles." We've had Lindenwood security in our house several times. They touch my clothes and rifle through our stuff while we are not in the house. One time a guy walked into the house while I was in the shower.Save yourself a huge headache and don't come near this school. I'm praying simply to be able to pay off this school and leave without further drama.
