Sort By: [Date] [Major] [Rating] Nursing  Major Salary, Salary Trend, Satisfaction, Unemployment Quite Bright This is my first year at trcc and I'm takinging my general education classes during the spring To anyone that want to go to this college please make sure when you go see an someone about enrolling and you finacial aid make sure you have everything done including loan information if needed I was told I had enough to cover school and book and a labtop from the school when it came down to me ordering everything I was to that all my money was going towards my school and fees I got $3030 dollars form my pell grant for the spring school year my school cost including my books came up to $2,130.00 so that left me with $899.75 to get a labtop which was $643.24 that left me with $256.51 I was told I didn't have a dime left to get a laptop when the library told me I have more than enough so I don't know if trcc knows what there doing or if they are actually still there students money so after all of this I had spoke with someone from the school they told me best thing I could do is apply for a loan and just go from there Useful Schoolwork: A+, Faculty Accessibility: F Have a Question? I was disappointed each and every day I was there. I heard everything about the nursing program (mostly about how difficult it is to get in and how grades are the most important aspect of the program.) I was told by a consler that the school weeds out students to accept the very best into their nursing program. There are hundreds of applicants and less than 50 spaces a semester.They do not have a waiting list;it goes by gpa and a 10% pool.If one gets lucky,they may get in.The pre courses include chemistry for nursing(which is not needed in RI and other states!) I would NOT recommend this school to anyone who is serious about their education.It will take you years to finish because the school requires so MANY pre courses!!!!(also-alot of foregion teachers with HEAVY HEAVY accents work there-DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND).I have one positive mention.I had one math teacher who was amazing.She was the best teacher I ever had, ever. I was nothing but disappointed with this establishment. I have never had a truly positive experience in any of those classes or on campus. They will find some way to snatch every penny you've got and screw you over. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone. Perceived Campus Safety: B, Education Quality: F Have a Question?
