The male dorm buildings stink, there's never anything to do on campus, they have a bunch of gay people prancing around all day trying to be seen(no offense to gay people), they campus is disgusting, the sororities and fraternities are the total opposite of what they are at any other school, and I really don't believe the atmosphere is how a college should be..it doesnt feel like a college at all..more like a jail. They take your money unless you apply for a loan(even if u get pell grant) dont expect to get any pocket money at MVSU, they're too busy pocketing up all the money. I hate this school. The school is located in the middle of no where with nothing to do. The closes mall or movies is over an hour away. The Education is a joke.. most of the teachers DO NOT speak english. The Athletic Department is a joke.. they provide us with crappy old equitment, no locker room, or trainers at practice. The dorms are disgusting. Roaches, RATS, you name it.. its there. The weather sucks it rains nearly everyday. The school buildings are old. It's burning hot one day and freezing the next. The club is a hole-in-the wall basically a 100x100 building NO AIR with music playing. The water is brown.. the student body is a joke. No one cheers at games, I know the football team sucks but come on. It's just gross, and sad. I would not recommend this school to ANYONE! Preparedness: -, Reputation: - Have a Question? It took some getting used to at first coming from out of state but there were a lot of us that chose valley due to family connections and the cost at the time. we had some really great instructors who didnt mind working with us to make sure we understood concepts and ideologies and we had some faculty/staff that liked to have fun and party with us as well. I met some really good people there and the good outweighed the bad for me. Education Quality: A+, Surrounding City: D Have a Question?
