Do not attend this school if you want to have even a modest social life to balance out with the strenuous academic curriculum. It is a very expensive school for really no apparent reason. A similar education could be sought at the larger schools in Montana with similar, if not higher, rates of acceptance to graduate and professional programs. The small class size and "Carroll family" that results is an incredibly inaccurate portrayal at best. Word travels fast among both professors and students which mimics a high school atmosphere. The food is absolutely terrible and the resident life is so stringent that even enjoying a good time without alcohol can find you being written up for a noise violation. Ridiculous and unsubstantiated fines will haunt most students each and every year. Furthermore, the addition of many adjunct professors and loss of reputable retiring professors have even the best programs at the school crumbling to non-existance.
Perceived Campus Safety: B+, Education Quality: F

I tried out carroll college for a semester, I was a member of the xc and trck teams as well. Overall i was not impressed with Carroll, their is not much to do socially and most of your time is spent on academics. As with the sports teams I was very unimpressed, it felt like high school. Overall Carroll felt like high school again.
