| Quite Bright | While the teachers were talented and accommodating the administration was incompetent to the point of cruelty. Lost checks, multiple tuition quotes and heavy bureaucracy marred this institution. | Starting Job: Grad school, Preparedness: C-, Reputation: D | | |

| Bright | This school is great for anyone from montana that doesn't like music or nightlife. There is little to nothing to do on the weekends and if you are from out-of-state I would not go here. It seems as if none of the girls are single and the majority of the school is male. The parties are a joke. On a positive note, everyone's friendly, but unexposed to the real world. The outdoor activities are plentiful and the skiing is OK | Campus Aesthetics: A+, Useful Schoolwork: F | | | |

| Quite Bright | MSU seems to have very little regard for its students or student opinion. Expenditures on research now exceed expenditures on instruction. Its administrative structure is bloated with bureaucrats and petty-administrators that do little to facilitate the operation of the University, while driving up costs. University goals do not reflect student opinion. Funding is very unevenly distributed between departments. | Faculty Accessibility: A+, University Resource Use: D- | | | |

| Bright | For those majoring in engineering, this may be a good pick. However, if your undergraduate institution is going to make any difference in your future (for example, for applying to graduate/professional school), and you are not an engineering major, you should avoid this place. This is the type of school that is more focused on getting easy degrees in the hands of underqualified students than in real education. The student body is the very definition of intellectual apathy. There is a far greater emphasis on "getting a job" vs. "getting an education". As far as social life is concerned, there are literally two options. You can be the 'outdoorsy' type, or you can be the 'party' type. So if you are neither, avoid this place. | Faculty Accessibility: A, Education Quality: F | | | |
