 | Quite Bright | If you are considering this University APPLY - I have been to three different universities from the East Coast all the way to Montana, and this is by far, the nicest most healthy, sane, safe, friendly campus environment I could ever imagine experiencing. I love it here. It's small size makes for a really awesome environment for actually being able to focus on studies, meet people and get to know your teachers and people in your department. The professors in the forestry/resource conservation department are all extremely intelligent, dedicated and beyond helpful and kind. If you are from far away and unsure if Montana will mean going to the middle of nowhere and not meeting anybody, you are MISTAKEN - This school is just a little bubble of healthy, driven students who just do their work, eat well, care about their environment and just are all around good healthy people with good healthy philosophies! | Education Quality: A+, Individual Value: F | | | |

| | Quite Bright | I really enjoyed my time at the University of Montana. It's definitely not that challenging, but the courses were interesting and the faculty were really great. The campus is absolutely gorgeous and Missoula is a great place to spend a few years. Even though the student body is pretty big, it still feels like a small campus in a small college town. The Davidson Honors College is what attracted me to the campus. The honors classes actually weren't any more challenging than regular courses, but the small class size and chance to work with some of the better professors was a nice perk.I often found myself wishing I had gone to a more challenging private school out east, but I don't regret my time at the University of Montana because I met a lot of great people and had a lot of fun in a really gorgeous part of the country! | Collaboration/Competitive: A, Social Life: B- | | | |

| | Quite Bright | Melanie Hoell has been one of the most assertive helpful advisors I have encountered in my academic career since 2002. The Campus is absolutely beautiful in spring and summer and if you like snow like seasons fall and winter have a great deal of beauty to offer as well. | Education Quality: A+, Social Life: B+ | | | |
